I have migrated from Calibre to Kavita. Now I basically have my own bookstore on my NAS, and I can just download directly to my Kindle. Kavita organises it and grabs all the metadata! Using it with the Bookshelf UI.

Just found this site, and it is incredible. It lets you search for anime (English, romaji, etc.) Then it will show you all the services those albums, and songs are on. I use Deezer, fuck Spotify. But it is incredible.

When the Japanese put music on different services, they sometimes use Romaji, English or just straight up Japanese so I can't search for it. Makes it a lot harder to find shit, and a lot of stuff can get buried.

As an example, I love the music from "The World God Only Knows" and just learnt from that site that there are like 3 albums in English which I already have, but there were others buried in Japanese that I would have never found.

This dude has 5 sisters; it would have been nice to see more family dynamics, and him actually making sweets and stuff. So much fighting in a show about fucking desserts. What was the author thinking? Like, just call this fighting and magic in another world, or some garbage.

Rewatching this show because I forgot it existed. MF called Pastry... The title sounded interesting, and from the first episode I thought he would be making sweets, but I'm currently on episode 5, and this dude barely makes pastry.

The idea of a dude being reincarnated and being a master baker or some shit sounded super interesting, but this show is lacking in that department. So far, very disappointing.

Setup Kodi on my Ubuntu Server

I didn't know you could do this, but my Shield TV was pissing me off. 2GB of RAM... I will sell it. That being said, my Dell Optiplex has decent specs for the price. Way cheaper than the Shield too. Got my Kodi instance connected to my Jellyfin server, so I can just stream stuff directly on my server if I want! Very cool stuff.

Still requires a lot more work though to be perfect, but I've been working on this for like 7 hours, so I can't be asked anymore...

Scribe Arrived

Got my scribe today. Managed to jailbreak it on day 1, which is awesome. I was expecting to wait a few months, or maybe even a year, in airplane mode to get this shit sorted, but nope, day 1!

Used "Kindle Modding Wiki" and was able to jailbreak it with ease; what an incredible community.

Initial Mod

First thing I did was change the wallpaper for when the device is turned off. I am planning on using XnConvert to create a metric shit-ton (2000 shitloads) of wallpapers to cycle through automatically :D

I ordered a Kindle Scribe on eBay. Refurbished; I hope it's good. I know Amazon is shit, especially with their devices. Filled with ads and other garbage software, but I hope I can eventually jailbreak the device.

I really want it for manga, and the size is big for an e-reader. Upgrading from a Kobo Clara HD. It is a good device, and you can also swap out the SD card easily for something bigger. Mine used to be 1TB. But since then, manufacturers have removed the ability to add your own SD card or swap, so they can sell you higher-storage devices at a massive price. The Apple strategy for money.

The Linsoul Simgot EA500 is good, and they fit very nicely in my ears. For the price, I am happy with them.

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4 begins airing again in like 1 hour. Took like a month or two break because that is the cool thing to do now to generate hype. I don't watch weekly releases, so I will watch after 2 months so I can just binge it.

I wish studios or distributors would stop doing this stupid split-cour shit...

Okay, I have finished this for the second time. It is a decent anime. It has a lot of potential if there is another season... But I don't see that happening.

What I Liked:

• I like a lot of the characters.
• The building aspects of this are fun.

What I Disliked:

• Some of the characters are over-the-top evil, like the nobles.
• Considering the main character got isekaid to another world, you would think he could be more creative with his innovations.
• Only specific types of weapons were built.
• Only saw a few types of monsters; would love to see this expanded upon.

This anime started really well, but fell off slightly towards the end—still a fun watch.

Going onto episode 9 of the rewatch. I'm surprised I've watched it this far again. It is fun, earlier episodes were the best in my opinion. It is still good, but I wish it focused more on the building aspect of things.

Watching the big moist play shift at midnight!

I was just thinking about other recent isekai animes that I have watched, after watching the recent garbage I just saw. There is an abundance of these shows, but I do still enjoy some slop.

For example, "Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord" was a fun recent watch.

"The strongest job is apparently not a hero or a sage, but an appraiser (provisional)!" had potential to be good, but quickly became shit. Especially after my favourite elf left after a few eps, only to be seen at the very end again... You can't introduce a big busty elf, and then be done with the character!

Okay, this might be one of the most boring animes I have watched in recent times. It sucks giga dick. I consume slop, but this is tremendously sloppy.

What I Liked:

• It made me laugh once.
• The art was good.

What I Disliked:

• All the characters were trash, including the main character. This is the main reason as to why I hate the show. There are so many characters, and literally all off them are over the top evil. They all look different, but act the same.
• The story is ridiculous, and over the top with no substance.

Overall, this was a waste of my time. 3/10.

I keep playing this game and finding new things I love! Who designed the cannoneer and blade bearer fight? Why do they keep randomly switching targets? The targeting also sucks, the woman keeps moving around like some crack head. They say this is anime + dark souls which both I love but I hate this.

The best part of this game was the character creation.

Just finished the game. Wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy and the final boss was truly a virgin.

The developers put like a level 200 mantis at the start of the game. Characters prompt you to not fight it but I ain't no bitch. My weapon literally deals 2 damage to the monster... Why the fuck do developers do shit like this?

There is fast travel in this game but they remove it when there is a story mission and when there is a lot of walking, basically removing the feature when you actually need it.

Another thing I hate about this game is how slow it is to level up. All the enemies suck dick and no creativity behind the monsters. Fight last too long and the rewards for it are terrible. You barely getany experience points for the battles so there really is no point in them to begin with.

Finished the 1st season of this. I've had this anime on my plan to watch for a long time, and was excited to watch it. I liked the concept of the show, but overall I was dissapointed.

What I Liked:

• The characters were cute, especially Platelet.
• Unique plot for an anime.

What I Disliked:

• I feel like a lot of the episodes were just based on the body being attacked, it would have been nice to see other functions of the body, and how other things work. I feel like this had the potential to be so much more than just defending the body.

Overall I gave this a 6/10. It was fine, but I might not watch season 2. Maybe in the future...

Finished this anime, it was not good to be honest. I read the manga a long time ago, and for some reason was looking forward to watching this.

• The action was terrible.
• The story itself is pretty boring.
• The world building is garbage.
• The main character is very bland, and not interesting.

I did end up reading the manga because I don't think this will get another season (would be very surprised if it did). It's not a long manga, I think I only had to read around 20 chapters to conclude the entire story. The manga itself has only 87 chapters in total. The MC basically defeats the big bad guy, and gets happy ending with everyone back on Earth. Very mid, very shit. 4/10.

After many years of keeping up with this show, it has finally ended, and it gave me chills.

The Highs

• All the characters are awesome; seeing all of them get together through the power of friendship and work together to defeat why-man was fun.
• Seeing the evolution of science, all the way from the Stone Age, was fun.
• The ending was cute, and it was nice to see all the characters thriving in their own way.

The Lows

• I did feel as if the season was a bit rushed. The evolution of science happened a bit too fast, and there were a lot of time skips. I suppose the show has to end at some point.

Conclusion

Overall, I loved this show, and I will miss it, although the end credits did say something about a continuation...

I rate this final season an 8/10. Goodbye for now, Dr. Stone!

Originally rated this game 80. I am reducing that to 65. I only like this game for dad moments and Diana. She is cute, that is all.

The rest of the game is meh. It started off decent, but I got more and more annoyed by the game play. Hacking and shooting at the same time does not work properly, and is stupid in execution. Enemies are damage sponges. I used a cheat mod to boost damage and gain infinite ammo. Could not take it anymore.

The ending was open, and horrible, and shit. It did make me sad, but it was highly unsatisfying. You can get a secret ending, which required you to complete 10 hard missions, defeat old bosses again, who have more health. And then defeat the final boss again, who is harder after defeating once. You do all this work, for 1 extra dialogue, confirming he made it back to the base. 1 EXTRA SENTENCE FOR ALL THAT.

This had so much more potential, but in the end, it just ended up pissing me off. Still love Diana, and would play a sequel. The open ending makes it so that a sequel could be possible. I did gave up on getting the alternate ending, considering how much of a grind it is to get 1 extra sentence.
